The Genomic Knowledge Model (GKM) Starter Kit was developed to give the community a clear, practical entry point for understanding and adopting GKM standards. GKM is a collection of standards that define shared models for representing genomic variation and related knowledge, providing a common foundation for how this information is structured and exchanged. The Starter Kit brings together real-world implementations, reusable resources, and examples that show how GKM is being used in practice and help others apply those approaches to their own projects.
